Frequently asked questions
What happens if it rains?
Outdoor events and classes aren't so much fun in the rain. Anyone booked onto a session that needs cancelling will be notified with as much notice as possible, I aim for at least the evening before. If the forecast takes a turn for the worse on the morning/ day of the class, it may be necessary to cancel then instead, again with as much notice being given.
Please contact if you're not sure.
In the event of the session being cancelled, students are given a full refund or can use the amount paid as credit for a future session.
Do I need to book beach sessions in advance?
Yes please. This means I can provide you with all the information you need ahead of the session, and also that I can let you know if for any reason the session doesn't go ahead.
As all sessions have a restriction on numbers, it's also important I know if you're interested so I can let you know if there's space.

I can't stay for the beach clean-is that a problem?
No. There's no obligation to stay for the beach clean. If you wanted to arrive early and do a quick sweep in advance, that would be an option, as would returning/ clearing up another location at a later date. Part of the reason behind the clean is to enhance your practice and relationship to our beautiful planet- it's completely up to you if and when you choose to do it.
What do I need to bring?
For summer-practice, I suggest you bring a mat or towel to practice on, and a blanket or towel for 'propping up' and savasana at the end. A drink and hat is also advised.
In the winter, it's a good idea to bring a plastic-backed picnic blanket and/ or mat to practice on, plus plenty of layers, including a waterproof. Extra socks and warm hats are also good to have with you, plus a warm blanket for 'propping up/ and during savasana.
